Block UserFor a few years straight my friends and I were part of a college bowling league. Well, it was more like a college drinking league we happened to bowl at! Anyway, for opening game one season we all dressed up in warm up suits and warm embroidered bowling sweatbands. We made our entrance to an old Jock Jams CD played over a portable radio (how 90s!!). Everyone was so intimated we wiped the floor with them! It was hysterical.
ANyway, I'd love to get a list going of some great bowling stories. What made that one game your best? Besides just the score! Bowling is as much about the people as it is the sport!!
I was at Saturday morning league one morning. & I got on the approach to throw my ball, did the approach, & right as I released my ball, the whole bowling alley lost electricity. So I was standing there in the dark yelling for someone to come find me[I don't like the dark!] for 5 minutes & for someone to tell me what I left, cause I thought I threw a decent ball. I had 4 or 5 guys at the end of the lane trying to see what I had thrown cause they thought it was funny that all I was worried about was my ball. When the lights came back on, we all saw what I had left.. 6,7,10 split.
